Licensure Examination for Teachers 2022
Last year, the Professional Regulatory Commission (PRC) had made a directive to continue a credible and reliable licensure examination. Despite the health protocols and the possibility of Covid-19 infection, the commission decided to administer the exam with strict protocols from the IATF. A limited number of examinations were conducted nationwide, prioritizing the necessity to strengthen the health care system and to augment the shortage of healthcare professionals in response to the Covid-19 crises that devastated the Philippines Health care system. Despite the government restrictions and the continuous declaration of extended community quarantine to stop the spread of the virus, the plan to lift the temporary suspension finally realize when the Inter-Agency Task Force for the Management of Emerging Infectious Diseases (IATF-MEID) eventually approve the proposal submitted by the Commission to lift the temporary suspension.
