Youtube was not yet introduced to the world wide web, nor the hundreds of free and paid streaming sites and apps if none or any available during that time seemingly rare that will entertain our hungry eyes. This is an Era where the web still a child and Betamax, VHS then later on cd to dvd player were the means to enjoy the slow phase life of the 90's. From the genre that most of that generation loved, a heart pumping action movies, to the never forget classics from the 90's and the rising of Horror and thrillers were all but the features of era.

MEET JOE BLACK (1998)
This true story follows the enigmatic Oskar Schindler, who won seven Academy Awards, including Best Picture and Best Director. A Czech-born businessman Oskar Schindler tried to make his fortune during the Second World War by exploiting cheap Jewish labor and ended up saving the Jews from the persecution of the Nazis.

The movie "Forrest Gump" was based on the1986 novel by Winston Groom of the same name. Director Robert Zemeckis used computer-generated effects to insert Forrest into historical scenes, including meetings with Presidents and celebrities. The sound track used was of "greatest hits" to evoke a sense of time and place. The movie's warm, comic spirit made it a favorite of many viewers, though others decried it as cliché-riddled. Hanks won a rare second consecutive best-actor Oscar for his portrayal of Gump.
